Students from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv created solution called HELi that makes epileptic seizures forecasting.
Ukrainians will present it at University Startup World Cup 2017 (USWC) in Copenhagen.
Competitions will be held on September 18-22 in the capital of Denmark, city of Copenhagen. Ukrainians will compete alongside with the 70 best student teams from around the world for monetary reward amounting to $25 thous. and for the Best Startup Worldwide title as well. Startup Kyiv organization held qualifying stage in Ukraine. SoftServe company rendered financial assistance to team’s trip.
Ukrainian team consists of first-year postgraduate student with the specialization in “Medical Physics” Viktoriia Haidar and student with the specialization in “Computer Engineering” Mykyta Chechula.
HELi is aimed at early real-time warning of epileptic seizures. Moreover, HELi makes provisions for the personalized treatment based on the collected data, patient’s condition monitoring and transfer of required information to the medical institution.
